Welcome to Community Business ATL, a nonprofit (501C3) organization dedicated to strengthening communities through our annual marketplace events. We believe in the transformative power of connection to rebuild and revitalize neighborhoods, one event at a time. We invite individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are passionate about helping others to join our mission. At Community Business ATL, we are committed to empowering our communities through purposeful action and meaningful engagement.
Love With Action
Our mission is to connect Atlanta-area communities with job opportunities, essential resources, health awareness, career services, and food distribution. We aim to offer on-the-spot interviews, connect individuals directly with employers, and provide free, much-needed support to the communities we serve. Community Business ATL is founded on the belief that resources should be brought directly into local neighborhoods, especially for individuals who may face financial or mobility issues. We believe in connecting, empowering, and growing together through the power of connection.
Our vision is to bring together like-minded individuals who are committed to serving their communities, sharing ideas, and building meaningful connections. Coming from diverse backgrounds and professions, we work together to empower the communities we serve and expand access to valuable resources and opportunities. We believe businesses grow through people, and Community Business ATL exists to bring businesses and communities together to serve one another.
We serve communities across Georgia with programs designed for people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds, including senior citizens, veterans, and high school students through our partnership with Operation Level Up Youth Edition. By offering accessible services and resources for the whole family, we help strengthen communities and connect residents with support that can improve their quality of life. This year’s Marketplace Connect event will take place in the Stone Mountain area, where the population is predominantly African American, with White, Hispanic, and Asian residents also represented. Household income in the area is generally around $40,000 to $60,000, which falls within the low-to-moderate income range for many residents.
As a pastor, entrepreneur, and a creative, I recognize that technology has impacted our sense of connection with people. What was once created by effective communication and partnerships; can now be done in seconds by a click of a button, taking away the value of meaningful relationships in business. At Community Business ATL, we're dedicated to restoring the value of face-to-face effective communication in business. We strive to offer safe and welcoming spaces where members of all backgrounds can share, learn, and grow together. Whether you're new or experienced, we welcome you to join us. Community Business ATL where we aim to foster connections, effective communication, and business partnerships.

We don't come to a community empty-handed! At every marketplace connect event, residents receive free food! No ID, forms to fill out, or lines. Our production staff will bring food boxes to your car. We will give you enough for you and your friends. Love is our driving force at CBA, and we believe that love is not what you say but it's what you do. We go the extra mile to ensure that each community we enter receives food. We have partnered with Goodwill Atlanta East, and they ensure we have a food truck on-site to serve the community. We are so thankful for connections like these that allow us to partner with them.

Our food production crew works tirelessly to ensure food boxes are prepared and ready for the community. We spend countless hours preparing these much-needed boxes for residents. We don't shy away from hard work; we believe it builds the character needed to succeed in life. We have a heart for community and people, and we won't stop working to ensure a community has what it needs to thrive.

Make a difference in our community by volunteering your time and skills. We have a variety of opportunities available for members who want to get involved. We need team players who are excited to be part of something that can change lives. Each volunteer receives a certificate for their service and hours completed.

We connect the community with resources that make a real difference. We partner with organizations like:
* **CEO:** An organization dedicated to helping individuals with criminal records find employment opportunities.
* **Georgia Healthcare Access:** Providing free healthcare screenings.
* **CBA Career Services:** Offering valuable resources, including training, resume assistance, and employment prospects.
* ** Operation Level Up Youth Edition:** Miesha Adams, founder of Operation Level Up Leadership Youth Edition (OLUL), a nonprofit initiative dedicated to preparing young people for success in leadership, entrepreneurship, college, and the workforce.

Connecting with a organization like ours gives you a sense of belonging that you can't find anywhere else. We enjoy being each other's keepers. We have a good time during our planning meetings and preparation days. It is more than just community service; it's the joy of knowing that you made a difference in someone's life who has lost everything. Bringing jobs, food, and resources to a community just makes things a little easier for the person in need. There is power in connections; connect today!
